Nature has produced a natural flame retardant fabric in the form of pure wool. Worsted Wool has natural protective qualities that have been enhanced by the addition of a PFZ treatment to increase the flame retardancy of the fabric.
Unlike some manmade fibres wool does not melt, instead it forms a thick insulating char which is cool to the touch and prevents flame spread.
420gsm, Worsted Wool is most suitable in many areas including molten metal protection.
